Job summary

Neev is seeking a Fluent English-speaking Full Stack developer to work remotely within the EU. You will join the Development team and collaborate with a major client’s IT team on varied tooling and data workflows.

You will design social data tools, build frontend interfaces, create robust back-end APIs, and automate tasks with Bash and Python. Strong Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field with at least 7 years IT experience.
• Minimum 3 years in full-stack web development including tool/app design.
• 3+ years building back-end APIs with Flask and database design/integration.
• 3+ years with relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL, MongoDB).
• 3+ years Linux system administration, security and networking.
• 3+ years containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• 3+ years Agile, Git versioning, and project tracking tools like JIRA.
• Experience with Bash and Python scripting for automation.
• Experience with Jira and Microsoft Project; Confluence/SharePoint beneficial.
• Certifications in web dev, cloud, or DevOps are assets.
• Excellent command of English.

Job description

We currently have a vacancy for a Full Stack developer fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert remotely (within EU). In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team.

• Designing and developing tools to interact with social media platforms and facilitate data collection workflows;
• Creating user-friendly front-end interfaces for data annotation and analysis purposes using modern frameworks and technologies;
• Developing back-end APIs and services to store, manage, and process data, and integrate with data analysis tools and pipelines;
• Writing scripts to automate tasks and workflows, using languages such as Bash and Python;
• Configuring and maintaining Linux-based systems for development and testing environments
• Ensuring the scalability, security, and performance of the tools using automation and monitoring tools;
• Providing technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for all developed tools.

Requirements

• Master’s or PhD degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field. with relevant IT professional experience of at least 7 years;
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in full-stack web development, including designing and developing tools and applications;
• Minimum 3 years of experience in developing back-end APIs and services using frameworks such as Flask, including database design and integration;
• Minimum 3 years of experience in database management systems, including both relational databases (e.g., MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB);
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Linux system administration, including user management, networking, security, and system configuration;
• Minimum 3 years of experience with containerization technologies (such as Docker) and orchestration tools (such as Kubernetes);
• Minimum 3 years of experience with agile development methodologies, version control systems (such as Git), and project tracking tools.
• Experience with automation and scripting using Bash and Python for task and workflow optimisation;
• Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git;
• Experience with project management software such as JIRA and Microsoft Project;
• Experience with collaboration platforms such as Confluence and SharePoint;
• Knowledge of reporting methods;
• Certifications in web development, front-end or back-end frameworks (e.g., React, Flask, or equivalent platforms), cloud computing platforms (such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud), containerization and orchestration technologies (such as Docker, Kubernetes, or equivalent platforms), database management systems, software engineering, DevOps, or related fields will be an asset.
• Excellent command of the English language.
