Shakers is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Developer to drive the core of a FinTech platform, delivering customer-facing portals and scalable backend services. You will collaborate with product, data and business teams on architecture, security and performance decisions.

You will mentor junior developers, review code, and leverage AI-assisted tools to accelerate delivery while upholding quality. Hybrid Madrid (Retiro) with 2 onsite days weekly.

Formación

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience across front-end (React or Angular) and back-end (Java, Python, Node.js or Go).
• Experience with high-volume or transactional systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Availability for a hybrid model in Madrid (Retiro), 2 days/week onsite.

Senior Full Stack Software Developer - FinTech Platform

The challenge

The team is building out the core of a financial platform from the ground up: customer-facing portals, backend services, and the APIs that tie everything together. There's real ownership here, working closely with product, data and business stakeholders on architecture, security and performance decisions, while also reviewing code and mentoring less senior developers. Delivery speed matters, and the team leans on AI-assisted tooling (Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code) to move fast without cutting corners on quality.
