HBX Group is seeking a talented Software Developer to join our engineering team in Monterroso, Kingdom Of Spain, ES. You will work on large-scale distributed systems, designing, developing, and delivering high-quality software across our travel technology platforms.

You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve performance, reliability, scalability, and security while adopting modern development practices and cloud-native approaches.

Formación

• Minimum 5 years of commercial software development experience, ideally within an e-commerce or high-transaction environment.
• Strong proficiency in .NET (Core) and C#.
• Professional knowledge on NodeJS and Angular.
• Experience with SQL Server and NoSQL databases.
• Experience developing and consuming APIs (REST and/or SOAP) using JSON and XML.
• Experience with TDD/BDD using frameworks such as xUnit or NUnit.
• Familiarity with CI tools such as TeamCity, Jenkins, GoCD.
• Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle from requirements through to production support.
• Nice to Have: Experience in car hire, travel, or mobility sectors.

What We're Looking For Essential Experience & Skills Minimum 5 years of commercial software development experience, ideally within an e-commerce or high-transaction environment. Strong proficiency in .NET (Core) and C#. Professional knowledge on NodeJS and Angular Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases, such as SQL Server and modern NoSQL solutions. Solid understanding of software engineering best practices, design patterns, and principles for building scalable and maintainable distributed systems. Experience developing and consuming APIs (REST and/or SOAP) using formats such as JSON and XML. Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and/or Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) using frameworks such as xUnit or NUnit. Familiarity with Continuous Integration tools such as TeamCity, Jenkins, GoCD, or similar platforms. Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle from requirements through to production support. Desirable Experience Experience working within Agile development environments. Experience collaborating with distributed or geographically dispersed teams. Understanding of low-latency, high-concurrency, distributed systems and the challenges associated with building them. Experience developing cloud-native applications. Hands-on knowledge of a major cloud platform such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
