HBX Group is seeking a senior strategic finance professional to lead inorganic growth initiatives, identifying opportunities and guiding transactions from start to finish. You will build financial models, craft investment theses and coordinate with senior executives and external advisers to close deals.

Responsibilities include leading end-to-end deal execution, conducting market analysis, and preparing board-ready materials.

Formación

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics, or related field.
  • 8–10+ years in Investment Banking, Private Equity, Corporate Development or related strategic finance.
  • Proven ability to lead complex M&A transactions from origination to completion.
  • Strong financial modelling, valuations and investment recommendations.
  • Experience with senior executives and Board stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

  • Lead end-to-end acquisitions, divestments and strategic projects from assessment through closing.
  • Manage valuation, financial modelling, due diligence and transaction structuring activities.
  • Coordinate internal stakeholders and external advisers throughout the transaction process.
  • Drive negotiations and support transaction documentation and execution.
  • Prepare analyses and materials for Senior Management, Executive Committees and the Board.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Origination & Strategic Development
  • Support the development and execution of HBX Group's inorganic growth strategy.
  • Proactively identify acquisition, investment and partnership opportunities aligned to strategic priorities.
  • Maintain a pipeline of opportunities and develop investment theses for potential transactions.
  • Conduct market, industry and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends and attractive sectors.
Transaction Leadership & Execution
  • Lead end-to-end execution of acquisitions, divestments and strategic projects from assessment through closing.
  • Manage valuation, financial modelling, due diligence and transaction structuring activities.
  • Coordinate internal stakeholders and external advisers throughout the transaction process.
  • Drive negotiations and support transaction documentation and execution.
Strategic Analysis & Board Support
  • Develop high-quality financial analyses and investment recommendations.
  • Prepare presentations and briefing materials for Senior Management, Executive Committees and the Board.
  • Assess strategic fit, value creation potential and investment risks.
  • Support key corporate initiatives and strategic projects beyond M&A activities.
Stakeholder Management
  • Serve as a trusted partner across Finance, Legal, Tax, Treasury, Strategy and Commercial teams.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for external advisers including investment banks, consultants and professional services firms.
  • Build relationships across the organisation to facilitate effective decision-making and transaction execution.
Team Leadership
  • Provide technical coaching and guidance to junior team members.
  • Review and challenge analytical outputs to ensure high quality standards.
  • Contribute to the development of team processes, tools and best practices.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performance team culture.
Skills:
  • Excellent analytical and financial modeling skills, including high proficiency in Excel, Powerpoint and valuation techniques.
  • Very strong stakeholder management - Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with strong stakeholder management and the ability to craft clear, compelling narratives.
  • Advanced project management and organizational ability.
  • Strategic thinking and commercial acumen,
  • Fluency in business-level English (written and spoken).
  • Ability to thrive under challenging deadlines while maintaining a high attention to detail.
  • Team builder with right attitude and culture that creates a good working environment.

Experience:
  • 8–10+ years of experience within Investment Banking, Private Equity, Corporate Development, Transaction Services or a related strategic finance environment.
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex M&A transactions from origination through completion.
  • Proven track record of developing financial models, valuations and investment recommendations.
  • Experience working directly with senior executives and Board-level stakeholders.
  • Experience managing multiple complex projects simultaneously in dynamic environments.
  • International and cross-border transaction experience preferred.
  • Exposure to the travel, technology, digital marketplace or consumer sectors would be advantageous.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics, or related field.
