adesso Spain is seeking curious, passionate technologists to solve complex problems with clean code, modern practices, and scalable software across Europe. You’ll join an international, high-performing engineering team in Barcelona, with a hybrid work model and periodic trips to Germany.

You’ll work across the software lifecycle from design to delivery, designing microservices, RESTful APIs, Kafka, Docker/Kubernetes, AWS, and AI-enabled solutions, with focus on quality, performance, and rapid

Formación

• Solid experience with Java 17+ and Spring (Boot, Security, Cloud).
• Proven design and development of microservices and RESTful APIs with CI/CD.
• Hands-on with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS in cloud-native environments.
• Experience with Kafka and event-driven architectures.
• Fluent in English; German a plus.

Your mission

You’ll join an international, high-performing engineering team, contributing to every stage of the software lifecycle, from design and architecture to implementation and delivery. You’ll face technically demanding projects where quality, performance, and scalability come first, with the freedom to experiment, innovate, and continuously improve.

Our work model is hybrid in Barcelona to strengthen local collaboration, and periodic trips to Germany to bring the international team together, fostering cohesion, shared learning, and a strong team spirit across borders.

What we’re looking for

• Solid experience with Java 17+, Spring (Boot, Security, Cloud...) and Angular / TypeScript.
• Proven experience designing and developing microservices and RESTful APIs, with a strong focus on quality through unit testing and CI/CD best practices.
• Hands‑on expertise with Apache Kafka and event‑driven architectures, including message brokers, streaming platforms, and scalable distributed systems.
• Strong experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS in cloud-native environments.
• Practical experience leveraging Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI solutions, including AI integrations, automation use cases, prompt engineering, and AI-assisted software development.
• Fluent in English; German is a plus.
