Formación

• 5+ years of professional software development experience with backend and frontend development.

• Comfortable with AWS services for application deployment and scaling.

Fullstack Engineer

Hybrid / Madrid

About the role

As a senior member of the engineering team, you will contribute across the stack to build the foundation of our music data platform. You'll design and scale services that handle large volumes of music rights and usage data while also creating intuitive, performant interfaces that empower internal teams and external rights holders.

You’ll report directly to the CTO and collaborate closely with engineering, product, and operations.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end ownership: Design, build, and maintain scalable, user-friendly web applications that connect complex data systems with clear, reliable user interfaces.
• Backend development: Implement APIs and services that process and expose music data at scale.
• Frontend development: Build responsive web applications using modern frameworks, ensuring great UX for data-heavy workflows.
• Cross-functional collaboration: Work with product and operations teams to translate business needs into technical requirements and features.
• Quality & reliability: Write clean, testable, and well-documented code across the stack, with an emphasis on scalability and long-term maintainability.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, with significant exposure to both backend and frontend development.
• Strong proficiency with modern JavaScript/TypeScript (React and Next.JS preferred).
• Expertise in writing production-grade Python code for backend systems.
• Solid understanding of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and data modeling. Experience working with AWS services for deploying and scaling applications.
• Comfortable working across the full development lifecycle: from architecture to deployment and monitoring.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing and building efficiently with AI.
• Experience building or working with rights metadata systems in media, especially in music publishing or copyright domains.
• Familiarity with music metadata standards (CWR, DDEX ERN, DSR, MWN…).
• A love of music and interest in helping creators get paid fairly!
