Job summary

DWS Group in Madrid is seeking a mid-to-senior Frontend / UI Developer to lead UI development for Risk modernization. You will craft modern, responsive interfaces with React/TypeScript, collaborating with data services and teams across business and technology for a seamless user experience.

The role demands strong frontend design sense, architecture knowledge, and a drive to deliver intuitive, scalable applications. English fluency is required; German a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on frontend development with JavaScript, TypeScript, React, HTML, CSS.
• Experience with design systems or reusable UI patterns is a plus.
• Backend development experience with Java and Spring or Spring Boot is a plus.
• Ability to translate complex requirements into intuitive UI solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to development of modern, responsive UIs using JavaScript, TypeScript, React, HTML and CSS.
• Shape the UI for Risk modernization, including architecture, components, usability, and performance.
• Collaborate with business analysts, product stakeholders, and backend teams to implement workflows.
• Create reusable UI components and patterns to accelerate delivery and quality.
• Support the full delivery lifecycle from design discussions to post-release improvements.
• Act as a technical owner for the UI area and promote engineering standards.
