Rakuten TV in Barcelona is seeking a Frontend Manager to lead all client-facing engineering across B2B and B2C platforms including Smart TVs, mobile, and web.

You will manage a ~10-engineer team, own technical strategy, and ensure high-quality delivery while aligning roadmaps with product and design. The role reports to the CTO and requires strong leadership in agile environments and hands-on frontend expertise.

Experience with video streaming tech and cross-device delivery is highly valued.

Formación

• Proven React expert with production-grade frontend tooling experience.
• Experience managing multi-team frontend organizations.
• Experience with Smart TV app development.
• Strong knowledge of video streaming tech (HLS/DASH, DRM, players).

Responsabilidades

• Own technical strategy, architecture, and delivery across frontend platforms.
• Lead frontend engineers and leads across Mobile, CTVs and Web.
• Report to CTO and represent frontend at leadership level.
• Drive roadmap alignment with product, design, and engineering.
• Define engineering standards, code quality, and testing strategy.
• Oversee hiring, performance reviews, and career growth.
• Manage external vendor and CTV platform relationships.
• Make final architecture decisions and own platform direction.
