Job summary

THEWHITEAM Consulting is seeking Frontend Developers to join a technology project focused on modern web development, frontend architecture and software quality. You will work on building reliable, accessible web applications with robust testing and continuous integration.

Requirements include 5+ years in frontend development, strong JavaScript (ES5/ES6), HTML/CSS, and experience with testing tools such as Karma, Chai, Sinon, Jasmine or Mocha, plus WebdriverIO or Selenium and Playwright.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using JavaScript (ES5/ES6), HTML and CSS.
• Implement robust, reusable frontend components.
• Apply frontend design patterns and architectural best practices.
• Contribute to microfrontend architectures.
• Develop and maintain unit and component tests using Karma, Chai, Sinon, Jasmine and Mocha.

The ideal candidates will have solid experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, automated testing and frontend design patterns, together with knowledge of microfrontend strategies and modern development tooling.

You will contribute to building reliable, accessible and maintainable web applications, ensuring high-quality code through comprehensive testing practices and continuous integration.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in frontend development.

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES5/ES6).

• Extensive experience with HTML and CSS.

• Experience with unit and component testing tools such as Karma, Chai, Sinon, Jasmine or Mocha.

• Experience with integration and end-to-end testing using WebdriverIO or Selenium.

• Experience with visual testing using Playwright and accessibility testing practices.

• Knowledge of JSON, REST APIs and web services.

• Experience configuring and using frontend package and build tools such as Yarn, NPM and Bower.

• Experience with Git and version control workflows.

• Knowledge of Rollup, Webpack and Node.js-based command-line tools.

• Strong understanding of frontend design patterns and architecture.

• Experience with at least one frontend framework or library: Angular, React, Vue, Polymer or Lit.

• Familiarity with testing best practices and software development standards.

• English: Advanced level (C1).

• Spanish: Professional working proficiency.

Nice to Have

• Experience with contract testing.

• Knowledge of Java and the Spring Framework.

• Experience with TypeScript.

• Familiarity with Azure DevOps.

• Knowledge of Docker and secure exposure of REST services.

• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD).

• Experience working with agile development teams.

• Strong verbal communication skills in English.

Technical Assessment

The recruitment process includes a technical pre-check to assess the candidate's technical experience and suitability for the role.

Conditions

• Location: Spain.

• Work model: 100% remote.

• Working hours: 09:00 - 18:00.

• Estimated project duration: 12 months.

• Experience: 5+ years.

• Salary: €33,000 - €35,000 gross annual salary.

• Positions available: 3.
