A leading hotel group in Barcelona is seeking a hospitality intern to welcome guests, check them in, and provide exceptional customer service. Candidates should be currently studying for a bachelor's degree in hospitality and fluent in English. Previous hotel experience is a plus. This role offers economic compensation, training programs, uniforms provided, and meals on duty, all in a fun environment with a focus on teamwork and guest satisfaction.

Formación

• Currently studying a bachelor's degree in hospitality or related field.
• Must be fluent in English.
• Previous hotel knowledge and experience in operational departments are valuable.

Responsabilidades

• Welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.

• Answer phones courteously and promptly.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests in a friendly, prompt and professional manner recognizing IHG Rewards Club Members and returning guests.
• Check guests in, issue room keys, provide information on hotel services and room location.
• Ensure required identification is taken from guests at check-in in line with local legislative requirements.
• Answer phones in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Work as part of a team and communicate with other departments as per hotel procedures to ensure excellent quality and service.
• Perform other duties as assigned including guest room tours, concierge services, special guest requests, etc.

Qualifications

• Currently studying a bachelor’s degree in hospitality or related field.
• Possibility to sign an agreement with your school for 6 months preferably.
• Previous hotel knowledge and experience in operational departments will be valuable.
• Must be fluent in English.
• Proactive, positive, energetic, dynamic, emphatic, team-worker and with passion for service.
