TEKsystems is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to join a Madrid-based Platform Engineering team. This role focuses on creating reusable frontend frameworks, components, portals and tooling used by internal engineering teams, rather than customer-facing applications.

You will deliver platform capabilities using React, TypeScript, Node.js and Azure, and drive adoption through documentation, standards, developer guidance and engineering enablement across multiple initiatives.

Formación

• Proven experience building reusable frontend frameworks and components.

About the Role

TEKsystems Global Services is looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join a Platform Engineering organization focused on improving developer experience and accelerating software delivery.

Unlike traditional frontend roles that build customer-facing applications, this position focuses on creating reusable frontend frameworks, components, portals, and tooling used by internal engineering teams.

Platform Engineering Focus

This is a Platform Engineering role. Success is measured not only by delivering technical capabilities, but also by driving adoption of those capabilities across the engineering organization. The solutions built by this team are primarily consumed by developers and engineering teams rather than business or end users. Strong Azure experience is required, as all platform capabilities are designed, deployed, and operated within a cloud-native Azure environment.

The two primary responsibilities

1. Deliver platform capabilities using React, TypeScript, Node.js, Azure services, internal developer portals, reusable frameworks, and cloud-native engineering practices.
2. Drive and support adoption of those capabilities through documentation, standards, developer guidance, engineering enablement, and technical leadership.

About the Team

You will join a newly establishedPlatform Engineering Task Forceresponsible for supporting multiple strategic initiatives across the organization.

The team is designed to provide flexible engineering capacity that can be deployed across different platform and engineering initiatives while also creating dedicated space for innovation and experimentation.

Team Mission

The Task Force has two key objectives:

1. Accelerate delivery across multiple platform and engineering initiatives.
2. Create dedicated capacity for innovation, experimentation, AI, and proof-of-concept development.

Expected Allocation

• ~60%of your time will be spent delivering platform capabilities and supporting engineering initiatives.
• ~40%of your time will be spent on innovation, AI initiatives, proof-of-concepts, and emerging technology exploration.
