Job summary

VeraContent, a multilingual content agency, is expanding its freelance team to support an international client in the agricultural sector. The role focuses on adapting social media content for Spain, with remote work and flexible hours (roughly 10–15 hours per week) during the initial phase.

You will translate or transcreate posts for Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn, adjust calendars, and tweak Canva assets.

Qualifications

• Experience localising content for Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn.
• Strong background in the agricultural sector.
• Ability to adapt English posts for Spanish audiences.
• Judging when translation, transcreation, or rethinking is needed.
• Knowledge of best posting times and seasons for agriculture.
• Experience subtitling content.

Responsibilities

Our team of language professionals, editors and strategists works together to create meaningful stories, especially when those stories involve complex topics and specialised audiences.

About the Project

We’re partnering with a new client in the agricultural sector. They’re an international agricultural group specializing in seed breeding, varietal innovation, and local farm distribution. We’re seeking to expand our team of freelancers with individuals specialised in social media localisation with experience in, or a strong knowledge of, the agricultural sector in Spain.

Requirements Markets

• Experience in creating, adapting and localising content for Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn
• Strong experience in the agricultural sector
• Able to take a post in English and adapt it for your market’s audience
• Able to judge when a post requires translation, transcreation or needs to be fully rethought
• Knowledgeable about the best posting times and seasons for the agricultural sector in your market
• Experience working in Canva for static and video content
• Experience subtitling

Responsibilities

• Adapting global content calendars to your market
• Translating social media copy directly in Canva assets – there will be no designing from scratch, but you may be required to make small tweaks in Canva to account for the translated text
• Advising on the best time to post certain topics in accordance with agricultural seasons in your market
• Scheduling posts directly in the client’s social media account or through a publishing tool
