Job summary

Glovo is seeking a Fraud Prevention role in Barcelona with 1–3 years in fintech analytics. You will design and implement detection rules, run end-to-end risk controls, and collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Data Science to advance fraud defenses.

You will analyze fraud signals using SQL and Python, build Looker dashboards, and support A/B tests to measure impact. English proficiency is required in a fast-paced, hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in fraud prevention, risk management, fintech or analytics.
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field.
• Strong SQL skills; Python or similar analytics tools a plus.
• Experience with BI tools Looker/Tableau.
• Understanding of Precision vs Recall and A/B testing principles.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to reduce fraud losses and improve profitability using advanced risk rules and ML.
• Implement end-to-end fraud prevention strategies, controls, rollouts, measurement, and iteration.
• Support evaluation of fraud controls by assisting in setup, monitoring, and performance analysis of A/B tests.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Data Science to propose innovative fraud controls.
• Perform risk analysis using SQL, Python and analytics platforms (Looker, BigQuery) to identify fraud patterns and monitor metrics.
• Contribute to ML workflows by partnering with Data Science: define features, validate outputs, and flag drift.
• Maintain a centralized escalation process for suspected fraud, with timely reviews and regional alignment.
• Develop and maintain executive dashboards in Looker to track fraud OKRs, exposure, and compliance metrics.
• Drive clarity on complex fraud topics using data-driven approaches for diverse audiences.
