This role combines strategic marketing with hands-on execution, addressing AI adoption in the industry. The ideal candidate will have a background in product marketing, experience leading product launches, and a mindset for both strategy and execution. We’re looking for ourfirst marketing hire — a founding member of the team —to set the foundation for how the world understands our product and category, and you’ll help define how our future marketing organisation grows.

About The Role

This is not a “pure demand gen” or “brand-only” role —it’s about category creation,positioning, and storytelling around AI adoption, supported by contractors for execution. The person who joins will combine strategic product marketing skills with the ability to roll up their sleeves and deliver.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Positioning in the AI Landscape– Define our place and differentiation in the market.
  2. Category Creation– Shape how the market sees us through language, narrative, and thought leadership.
  3. Go-To-Market (GTM)– Own strategy for launches, features, and major announcements.
  4. Market & Customer Insights– Research AI buyers, users, and trends to spot opportunities; build personas and adoption journeys; track competitors to stay ahead.
  5. Cross-Functional Enablement– Partner with product and engineering to turn AI capabilities into customer value; equip sales and founders with clear narratives, decks, and battlecards; align ecosystem partners on messaging.
  6. Content & Campaign Direction– Develop messaging guides and campaign briefs for contractors. Oversee creation of thought leadership, customer stories, and key assets; direct paid, SEO, and content specialists to ensure flawless execution.
What Success Looks Like (6–12 months)
  • A clear, differentiated narrative in the AI space.
  • Category-defining assets (messaging house, positioning doc, manifesto).
  • At least one major launch with measurable awareness and adoption impact.
  • Smooth contractor operations under your direction.
  • Early traction in thought leadership and inbound interest.
What We’re Looking For?
  • Background in product marketing (ideally in AI, ML, developer tools, or infrastructure with technical buyers).
  • Proven ability to create positioning and messaging in fast-moving or ambiguous markets.
  • Experience leading product launches and building go-to-market motions.
  • A “player-coach” mindset — strategic but willing to draft copy, design a launch plan, or refine a deck hands-on.
  • Bonus: experience with category creation or early-stage startups.
