Wave Group, an autonomous AI startup, seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer to bridge customers and the product in Madrid (preferred) or Barcelona (1–2 office days). You will deploy and tailor AI systems, ensuring real production outcomes while building reusable deployment playbooks.

The role requires hands-on delivery (~70%) and strong Python/FastAPI skills, plus experience with LLMs and AI voice agents. Fluency in English and additional languages is highly valued.

Formación

• Fluent in English; additional languages highly desirable (Spanish/Italian/German).

• Strong foundation in Python and FastAPI.
• Experience with LLMs and Agentic AI in production.

Salary: ideally up to €90k (flex for strong candidates)

+ up to 35% bonus (~20% standard, rest based on performance)

This rapidly scaling start-up is building an AI-native platform that lets enterprise clients run high-volume operations through autonomous, conversational agents — voice, chat and messaging, deployed across dozens of countries in over 60 languages, for some of the largest employers in the world.

The companys core technical challenge is multi-agent orchestration that stays rock-solid at scale — reliable, secure and observable whether its deployed for a healthcare provider in the US or a retailer in Latin America.

About the role

Youll be the technical bridge between the company and enterprise customers in your market — understanding their workflows, configuring and extending the AI systems to fit, and staying accountable for real production outcomes, not just a go-live.

This is a heavily hands-on role: most of your time is spent building and deploying (~70%), with the client-facing side being ~30%. Youll turn what you learn in the field into reusable modules and playbooks that speed up every deployment after yours.

Must have requirements:

• Professional fluency in English (plus Spanish, Italian and/or German)
• Direct customer-facing experience (FDE, field engineering, consulting or solutions roles)
• Strong foundation in Python, FastAPI
• Experience with LLMs & Agentic AI in production
