UMATR in Galicia, Spain is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to own the technical delivery across enterprise engagements—from identifying use cases and scoping PoCs to deploying AI workflows and integrating solutions in real customer environments. You’ll sit at the intersection of engineering, AI and enterprise consulting, working directly with customers across multiple regions.

Formación

• 6+ years in enterprise solution design, implementation, or similar technical role.
• Ability to translate ambiguous business requirements into technical solutions.
• Strong experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience with AI/ML systems and enterprise tech stacks.

Responsabilidades

• Lead technical discovery and solution scoping with Solutions Architects and TACs.
• Define PoCs with success criteria, data needs, integration approaches and timelines.
• Configure and deploy AI-powered workflows including document processing and AI agents.
• Build integrations with enterprise systems such as SharePoint, ERPs, portals, and Microsoft 365.
• Own the technical lifecycle from PoC to production deployment and support.
• Translate business requirements and customer data into technical solutions.
• Develop technical proposals and narratives linking tech to business outcomes.
• Work across multiple enterprise engagements, balancing priorities and deadlines.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on complex builds and product improvements.
• Provide customer insights back to product and platform development.
• Document solutions, decisions and processes clearly throughout engagements.

We’re partnering with a fast-growing AI company helping enterprise organisations turn complex, unstructured information into actionable intelligence and smarter workflows.

They’re looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer to take ownership of the technical delivery across enterprise engagements - from identifying use cases and scoping proof-of-concepts through to building integrations, deploying AI workflows and getting solutions working in real customer environments.

You’ll sit at the intersection of engineering, AI and enterprise consulting, working directly with customers across the GCC and wider MENA region. This is a highly autonomous role where you’ll take a solution from idea to production while feeding what you learn back into the wider product.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead technical discovery and solution scoping alongside Solutions Architects and Technical Account Managers.
• Define PoCs with clear success criteria, data requirements, integration approaches and delivery timelines.
• Configure and deploy AI-powered workflows, including document processing, knowledge systems and AI agents.
• Build integrations with enterprise systems such as SharePoint, ERPs, portals and Microsoft 365.
• Own the technical lifecycle from initial PoC through to production deployment and ongoing support.
• Translate complex business requirements and unstructured customer data into practical technical solutions.
• Develop technical proposals and executive-facing solution narratives that connect technology to business outcomes.
• Work across multiple enterprise engagements, balancing competing priorities and deadlines.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on more complex technical builds and product improvements.
• Feed customer insights and recurring requirements back into product and platform development.
• Document solutions, decisions and processes clearly throughout the engagement.

Who We’re Looking For:

• 6+ years experience in enterprise solution design, implementation, consulting, software engineering or a similar technical role.
• Strong ability to take ambiguous business requirements and turn them into structured, workable technical solutions.
• Experience delivering complex projects across multiple stakeholders.
• Comfortable explaining technical concepts to both engineers and senior, non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working with enterprise customers and managing technical delivery from discovery through deployment.
• Familiarity with AI/ML systems such as RAG, document processing, API integrations or AI agent frameworks.
• Experience working with industrial or engineering-heavy sectors such as energy, manufacturing, procurement, construction or similar is highly beneficial.
• Strong written communication and documentation skills.
• Willingness to travel across MENA, Europe or North America.
