RiskPod, a VC-backed fintech, seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer to own the lifecycle from signed facility to live production deals. You will design deal schemas, eligibility rules, and on-chain transaction builders, while coordinating client sessions and delivering robust data ingestion and runbooks.

The role emphasizes end-to-end ownership, direct client-facing experience, and strong Python/postgreSQL/AWS skills, with a focus on clean architecture and real-world data handling.

Formación

• 5+ years software engineering with strong software architecture skills.
• Production Python stack: FastAPI, Pydantic, PostgreSQL, AWS.
• Direct client-facing technical experience and ownership of end-to-end delivery.
• Fluency with real-world data, SQL, and data reconciliations; API integration.

Responsabilidades

About

VC-backed fintech building internet-native debt capital markets. The platform automates asset-backed debt facility operations by digitising credit agreements, integrating live data sources and using smart contracts to automate capital and asset flows. Around thirty facilities are live across BNPL, trade finance, real estate and consumer lending.

The Role

Join a new Forward Deployed Engineering team working alongside a 9-person Product Engineering team. You own the path from signed facility to a deal running in production: deal schemas, eligibility rules, borrowing base, covenants, cash controls, reporting and on-chain transaction builders. You interrogate functional specs, build and reconcile client data ingestion, run client working sessions with an advisory posture, and hand over to Operations with runbooks so deals run without you.

Requirements

• 5+ years software engineering; clean separation of business logic and I/O (hexagonal architecture)
• Production Python: FastAPI, Pydantic, PostgreSQL, AWS
• End-to-end delivery ownership
• Direct client-facing technical experience
• Fluency with messy real-world data, SQL and reconciliations
• API integration and file pipeline experience
• Practical judgement with AI-assisted development
• Strong written and spoken English

Bonus

Domain knowledge in lending, payments, private credit or treasury.
