Job summary

Murphy AI is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer based in Barcelona to lead deployments for customers in Brazil. You will collaborate with product, engineering, deployment, and revenue teams, traveling regularly to Brazil to run discovery sessions, support deployments, and build strong client relationships.

This role sits at the intersection of engineering, product, and customer success. You will translate complex customer requirements into scalable technical solutions, ensuring Murphy delivers

Qualifications

• Native Portuguese speaker with fluent English.
• Based in Barcelona and comfortable with international travel, particularly to Brazil.
• Background in Data Science or Data Analysis.
• Strong technical foundations and the ability to write and understand production‑quality code.
• Comfortable working directly with customers and translating business requirements into technical solutions.
• Deep product and systems understanding: end-to-end data flows, architecture, dependencies, and system behavior.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technically robust client configurations aligned with requirements before going live.
• Optimize agent performance through structured iteration using KPIs and data-driven improvements.
• Act as the technical counterpart to clients, explaining architecture, constraints, trade-offs and product capabilities.
• Provide structured product feedback and collaborate with Product and Engineering to improve the platform.
• Design scalable, reusable configurations that work across clients and minimize technical debt.
