Job summary

SIX in Madrid is seeking an Operations and Quality Specialist to oversee FX trading and settlement platforms, driving process and quality improvements across the operation.

You will participate in testing with IT and development teams, validate new functionalities, and help reduce operational risks while ensuring compliance with internal procedures and regulations. Fluency in English and Spanish is required.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in financial markets operations or post-trade environments.
• Experience in a QA or operations role with testing/UAT in financial systems.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; able to coordinate across teams.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and a collaborative mindset.
• Business English and Spanish proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of FX trading and settlement platforms to ensure stability and efficiency.
• Participate in testing environments with IT to validate releases and fixes before production.
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures and regulations; prepare reports for supervisory bodies.
• Support onboarding and activity of new clients from an operational perspective.
