SIX Group Services Ltd. is seeking an IT Application Analyst within SIX Clearing, based in Madrid. The role focuses on IT engineering, data platforms, and operational excellence to ensure robust data and infrastructure for quantitative risk management.

You will work on designing and maintaining data pipelines, risk models, and platform reliability, while collaborating with Quant teams and stakeholders across the organization. A hybrid setup with up to 40% remote work is available in Madrid.

Formación

• 2-3 years of experience in IT engineering / data platforms / infrastructure
• Advanced expertise in SQL Server (data modeling, performance tuning)
• Solid programming skills in Python for ETL and data processing
• Hands-on experience with DevOps tools (Git, CI/CD, Docker)
• Interest in financial sector and quant risk concepts would be a plus
• Strong analytical mindset, reliability under pressure, collaborative in mission-critical environments
• Excellent communication in English and Spanish

Responsabilidades

• Design, optimize, and maintain SQL Server databases (tables, views, procedures)
• Develop and run Python-based ETL pipelines for data ingestion and quality control
• Integrate and manage market data flows from external and internal providers
• Build and maintain automated risk calculation processes for Quant teams
• Ensure platform reliability (Windows servers) and containerized environments (Docker)
• Implement and operate DevOps practices (Git, CI/CD, automated deployments)
• Develop, calibrate, implement and review quantitative risk models and stress tests
