PLD Space in Elche, Spain, seeks an Avionics V&V Engineer to define and execute verification and validation activities ensuring avionics products meet requirements. You will translate requirements into clear verification strategies, test specifications, and acceptance criteria, driving evidence for qualification, acceptance, integration and flight readiness.

The role requires a strong electronics/avionics background across PCBA to system level, proficiency with test instrumentation, scripting

Qualifikationen

• Engineering degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Aerospace, or Industrial Eng with electronics.
• Experience in verification, validation, testing or integration of electronic systems.
• Strong background in electrical, electronic and electromechanical systems including power electronics, RF, sensors and embedded systems.
• Experience in avionics product verification at PCBA/subassembly/unit/subsystem or system level.
• Experience with functional/performance testing of electronics.
• Ability to translate requirements into test objectives and acceptance criteria.
• Experience with test documentation such as test specs/procedures/reports.
• Knowledge of lab equipment: oscilloscopes, power supplies, loads, multimeters, signal generators, DAQs, logic analyzers.
• Ability to interpret test results and evidence to verify requirements.
• Familiarity with automated test environments and tools (Python, MATLAB, LabVIEW, TestStand).
• Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and manage priorities across projects.
• Fluent English and Spanish.

Aufgaben

• Review avionics requirements from a verification perspective to ensure clarity and testability.
• Translate requirements into verification objectives and acceptance criteria.
• Prepare and maintain Test Specifications with objectives, coverage and acceptance criteria.
• Ensure traceability between requirements, tests, results and closure evidence.
• Review test procedures, setups and equipment needs for verification.
• Participate in technical review milestones and address open actions and risks.
• Follow up test execution and address deviations and evidence gaps.
• Assess test results to demonstrate compliance with requirements.
• Prepare verification outputs such as qualification and acceptance reports and matrices.
• Support anomaly investigations, NCRs, deviations and retest definitions.
• Identify gaps in verification coverage and propose corrective actions.
• Contribute to standardization and improvement of V&V practices.
• Support transition from development tests to recurrent, traceable verification processes.
