Volotea seeks an AOG Logistics Specialist in Barcelona to manage urgent material requests, verify inventory in AMOS, and coordinate rapid shipments. The role requires strong organization, proactive problem-solving, and clear communication under pressure.

Hybrid work model with three days in the office and up to two from home. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in logistics (aviation MRO/OEM a plus), familiarity with AMOS/inventory systems, and comfort making quick decisions in high-stakes

• Receive and process AOG and urgent material requests from MCC and Logistics Department.
• Check AMOS or inventory systems to determine availability, location, and interchangeability of parts.
• Select optimal sourcing location based on lead time and stock levels.
• Arrange and coordinate shipments from pick-up to delivery with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal stations.
• Maintain continuous information flow between shipper, consignee, vendor and forwarder during shipment.
• Track shipment progress in real time and resolve delays.
• Process shipment documentation accurately and on time.
• Confirm receipt transactions to keep inventory records updated.
• Adapt quickly to time-critical situations with efficient logistics solutions.

How will it be to work with us?

• Receive and process AOG and urgent material requests from MCC and the Logistics Department, confirming exact part/tooling/material details.
• Check AMOS or relevant inventory systems to determine availability, location, and interchangeability of required parts.
• Select the optimal sourcing location based on lead time, stock levels, and available shipping methods.
• Arrange and coordinate shipments from pick-up to delivery - liaising with suppliers, freight forwarders, couriers, and internal stations.
• Ensure continuous information flow between shipper, consignee, vendor, and forwarder throughout the shipment process.
• Track and monitor shipment progress in real time, proactively resolving any delays or issues.
• Process all shipment documentation accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory requirements.
• Confirm receipt transactions in the system upon delivery so inventory records remain up to date.
• Adapt quickly to changing situations, finding the most efficient logistics solution under time-critical conditions.

What Will Make You Succeed In This Position

• Experience: 2+ years in logistics, supply chain, purchasing, or material management (aviation MRO/OEM experience is a plus).
• Knowledge: Familiar with inventory systems (AMOS preferred), aircraft/engine/component records, and Microsoft Office.
• Skills: Highly organized, analytical, a fast problem‑solver, and a clear communicator under pressure.
• Attitude: Proactive, team‑oriented, and comfortable making quick decisions in high‑stakes situations.
• Availability: Able to work shift patterns.
