Job summary

The Ritz-Carlton Tenerife, Abama is seeking a passionate Cook to join our luxury kitchen team in Tenerife. You will prepare and present dishes, follow rigorous quality and safety standards, and work closely with the kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in a five‑star hotel or fine dining setting, strong teamwork, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Rotating shifts and holidays required.

Qualifications

• Vocational Diploma in Culinary Arts or related field.
• Experience of at least 1 year in a similar hotel/restaurant role.
• Knowledge of culinary techniques and food handling practices.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to recipes and standards.
• Organize ingredients, equipment, and utensils for daily operations.
• Ensure all items meet quality, presentation, and safety standards.
• Conduct daily checks on quality, freshness, and storage of products.
• Maintain stock levels and report replenishment needs.
