J.P. Morgan Personal Investing is hiring an Engineer to build a top-in-market suite of mobile and web apps for client investments. You will work in squads focused on specific products, contributing to scalable services in a fintech environment.

The role emphasizes solving real problems, collaborating with a London-based team, and leveraging enterprise AI-assisted development tools to improve code quality and delivery speed.

Formación

• Proven track record delivering high-quality software
• Experience with JVM languages (Java/Scala/Kotlin) and Springboot
• Ability to design systems from scratch and evolve architectures
• Hands-on with event-driven architectures and Kafka
• Experience with monitoring and production readiness

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with Product to understand needs and deliver features using Agile SDLC.
• Design evolving architecture; microservices running on Kubernetes with Kafka and event-driven design.
• Own tasks from estimation to release and post-production.
• Identify, troubleshoot and fix defects.
• Write tests and follow best practices for quality code.
• Support frequent deployments and participate in code reviews.
• Share knowledge through skill-sharing sessions within the team.
