Job summary

Flanks in Barcelona is seeking a Financial Analyst Intern to join the Product Team and help ensure portfolios are accurate, well-classified, and correctly loaded. Reporting to the Product Operations Manager, you will analyse data availability, propose solutions, and execute improvements that impact client-facing insights.

You’ll gain hands-on experience with financial data management in a fast-growing fintech, with hybrid work options and a path for growth as part of an equal-opportunity team.

Responsibilities

• Analyse financial data in complex availability situations, identifying gaps and proposing clear, executable solutions.
• Classify and upload financial portfolio data with a focus on accuracy of positions and performance.
• Reconcile financial data across sources to ensure consistency and correctness.
• Review and update internal tools used for financial data management, flagging areas for improvement.
• Propose process improvements based on patterns identified during day-to-day work.

About the role

As a Financial Analyst Intern at Flanks, you'll join the Product Team and work directly on one of the most data-critical parts of our platform: ensuring that financial portfolios are accurate, well-classified, and correctly loaded. Reporting to our Product Operations Manager, you'll analyse complex data availability situations, propose solutions, and execute on them — contributing directly to the quality of what our clients see and rely on.

What you'll do

• Language Proficiency: Fluent in English to collaborate effectively in our international team.
