Claire Joster, part of the Eurofirms Group, invites applications for a Finance Trainee position across the Iberia region, based in Madrid. You will support financial operations, invoicing, reporting, and internal controls while collaborating with Finance, Staffing, HR, and Case Management teams.

The role offers hands‑on experience with SAP/Infor, a hybrid 70/30 office/home arrangement, a 9:00–18:00 schedule, and a clear path to permanent employment.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in financial operations, project control, or similar roles.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with ability to interpret financial data.
• Fluent Spanish and professional English (minimum B2 level).
• Experience with financial systems (SAP, Infor, ERP) and data accuracy.

Responsabilidades

• Support monthly financial processes, including project economics, invoicing accuracy, revenue tracking, and financial reporting.
• Assist in end‑to‑end case management: case opening, contract coordination, economic analysis, and compliance checks.
• Maintain financial data integrity across systems, ensuring updates and reconciliations.
• Monitor work-in-progress, accounts receivable, billability, and project profitability, escalate risks.
• Prepare revenue backlog reports, forecasts, and ad‑hoc financial analysis.
• Review client contracts to ensure alignment with terms and policies.
• Support internal controls, documentation standards, segregation of duties, and compliance procedures.
• Collaborate with Finance, Staffing, HR, and international teams to align financial operations.
• Contribute to process improvements, system enhancements, and financial policy optimization.
• Maintain client databases, record invoices and cash collections, and support budget planning.

About the Role:

The Finance Trainee will support the financial operations and case management activities across the Iberia region, gaining hands‑on experience in project economics, invoicing, financial systems, reporting, and internal controls. Working closely with Finance, Staffing, HR, and Case Management teams, this role contributes to monitoring project performance, preparing forecasts, ensuring data accuracy, and maintaining compliance with global financial standards. It is an opportunity to develop strong analytical skills, understand end‑to‑end financial processes, and grow within a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support monthly financial processes, including project economics, invoicing accuracy, revenue tracking, and financial reporting.

• Maintain financial data integrity across systems (SAP, Infor, internal platforms), ensuring updates, reconciliations, and corrections are completed accurately.
• Monitor work‑in‑progress, accounts receivable, billability, and project profitability, escalating risks when needed.
• Prepare revenue backlog reports, forecasts, and ad‑hoc financial analysis to support decision‑making.
• Review client contracts to ensure alignment with commercial terms and internal policies.
• Support internal controls, documentation standards, segregation of duties, and compliance procedures.

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in financial operations, project control, or similar roles (preferably in a multinational or professional services environment).
• Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and identify discrepancies.
• Fluent Spanish and professional English (minimum B2 level).
• Experience working with financial systems (SAP, Infor, ERP platforms) and managing data accuracy.
• High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a rigorous approach to financial processes.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and take ownership of assigned tasks.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Proactive, solution‑oriented, and comfortable working in fast‑paced environments.

Nice to Have

• Experience with SAP for Hana or similar financial systems.
• Exposure to project economics, invoicing cycles, or revenue forecasting.

• Participation in system upgrades, process automation, or financial transformation projects.
