Job summary

Mindquest seeks a Finance Manager based in Madrid or Barcelona to lead the local finance function within the Spanish business scope. Reporting to the Group Finance Department, you will steer accounting, tax, treasury and financial reporting, while developing the local team and supporting growth and post-acquisition integration.

Qualifications

• Degree in finance, accounting, audit or business administration.
• Ideally 12–15 years of experience in corporate finance.
• Big Four experience in Audit, Transaction Services or M&A is highly valued.
• Proven experience managing a financial scope representing at least €10 million in revenue.
• Strong expertise in accounting, financial closing, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury and local taxation.
• Experience in transformation, organisational structuring or post-acquisition integration.
• Experience leading or supervising an accounting and finance team.
• Willingness to travel periodically within Spain, especially Madrid and Almería.

Responsibilities

• Represent the Group Finance function in Spain and implement governance standards across the local scope.
• Support the creation of new legal entities and their financial integration after acquisitions.
• Oversee accounting activities and ensure reliable monthly, quarterly and annual closings.
• Improve the reliability of financial reporting and provide relevant management information.
• Manage budgeting and reforecasting processes and perform variance analysis.
• Oversee treasury activities and prepare cash flow forecasts.
• Supervise local tax matters, including VAT and local taxes.
• Structure and improve financial processes to support growth in Spain.
• Manage the local finance team and support its development.
• Contribute to design and implementation of a Shared Services Centre to bring invoicing in-house.
• Coordinate with Group Finance, operations teams, auditors and external partners.
• Contribute to finance transformation and information systems development projects.
