Rover in Barcelona is seeking an experienced FP&A professional to build and maintain forecasting models for international revenue and to influence central teams.

You will partner with Marketing, Analytics, and Product, monitor forecast accuracy, identify risks and opportunities, and present concise, data-driven insights to leadership. The role blends financial rigor with strategic thinking in a fast-growing tech company that values flexibility and cross-border collaboration.

Formación

• BS/MS or equivalent in Economics, Business, Math or Statistics.
• 5+ years FP&A with forecasting focus.
• Proven track record of complex financial models.
• Experience with user retention modeling and cohort analysis.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and ability to influence leadership.
• SQL experience required; Python a plus.
• Experience in a tech/ marketplace company is a plus.

Who We're Looking For:

• Independent self-starter who enjoys working with an international, cross functional team
• Analytical storyteller who can explain the "why" behind variances and influence financial outcomes
• Exhibits curiosity about the business with the ability to dig in, ask questions and challenge the status quo in a respectful manner

Your Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain comprehensive forecasting models for international revenue, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business goals
• While this position does not have direct reports, you will be responsible for working with and influencing central teams to execute your strategies and learning agendas
• Partner with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Analytics, and Product, to gather relevant model inputs
• Monitor performance vs forecast and make recommendations to key revenue drivers based on thoughtful, data-driven analysis, ensuring alignment on assumptions with key stakeholders
• Identify risks and opportunities early to provide actionable course correction to ensure we hit our financial targets
• Dig into cohort models to understand consumer behavior and implications for near term and long range planning
• Ensure the development of appropriate reporting, so that members of the team and stakeholders have clear visibility to the performance of the business and spot problems early
• Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency within the role.

Your Qualifications:

• BS/MS or demonstrated ability in a business or quantitative field: Economics, Business, Math, Statistics - the main thing is you have learned how to think analytically and you are fluent in financial constructs
• 5+ years of experience in FP&A, financial modeling, or related roles, with a strong focus on forecasting and analysis
• Proven track record of developing and managing complex financial models
• Experience with user retention modeling and cohort analysis
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
• Exceptional communication skills with a proven ability to influence leadership through concise, outcome-oriented presentations
• Able to synthesize large amounts of data and provide actionable insights
• SQL experience required, Python a plus
• Experience working in a tech or marketplace company is a plus
