GAC Group is seeking an Accountant Assistant for our Algeciras office to support the Finance team with payments, invoicing and reconciliations. The role focuses on accuracy, timely processing and adherence to internal controls while working closely with suppliers and colleagues.

We value English fluency, strong Excel skills and the ability to work independently within a collaborative global network. This full-time position sits in a key Atlantic logistics hub.

Formación

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field, or at least three years of relevant finance experience.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with colleagues and other stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Manage supplier payments in different currencies.
• Process and record supplier invoices accurately and on time.
• Carry out bank reconciliations and keep financial records up to date.
• Monitor and respond to finance-related email communications.
• Follow accounting procedures, internal controls and company policies.
• Support data quality, document management and record keeping.
• Work with colleagues and external suppliers to resolve queries and payment or invoice discrepancies.
• Support compliance checks, including sanctions screening and supplier verification.
• Maintain accurate filing and archiving of financial documents.
• Assist with other finance and administrative tasks as needed.
