Uplift People Consulting client in Madrid seeks a Finance and Accounting Executive to oversee day-to-day accounting, ensure compliance, and deliver timely MIS reports. You will work with AP/AR, perform reconciliations, and support budgeting and forecasting within a manufacturing-focused environment.

Ideal candidates will have a finance/Accounting degree, strong Excel skills, ERP experience, and attention to detail. Spanish regulatory knowledge is preferred; manufacturing exposure is a plus.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Knowledge of Spanish accounting standards and tax regulations is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
• Experience in accounting and finance functions is preferred.
• Manufacturing or industrial sector experience is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Record daily accounting transactions, including invoices, payments, receipts, and journal entries.
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Verify supplier invoices and process payments; issue customer invoices and monitor receivables.
• Perform bank and ledger reconciliations; maintain expense records and classifications.
• Prepare financial statements, MIS reports, and variance analyses; support budgeting and forecasting.
• Assist with VAT returns, statutory filings, audits, and compliance with Spanish regulations.
• Coordinate with Purchase, Sales, and Operations to ensure accurate financial information; use ERP/accounting systems to record transactions.

We are looking for a Finance and Accounting Executive. Finance and Accounts Executive: The Finance & Accounts Executive is responsible for managing day‑to‑day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance, and supporting management with timely financial reporting and data analyses. This role has a key part in maintaining financial discipline, strengthening internal controls, and supporting business teams with timely MIS reports. The role requires strong attention to detail, adherence to internal controls, and coordination with internal departments and external stakeholders Reports To: The Finance and Accounts Executive will be reporting to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Accounting Operations Record daily accounting transactions, including invoices, payments, receipts, and journal entries. Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR). Verify supplier invoices and process payments. Issue customer invoices and monitor outstanding receivables. Financial Control & Reporting Perform bank and ledger reconciliations.
