ISGlobal in Barcelona is seeking a junior assessor with a University degree in health sciences to work as a field technician in the Heat-Gravitas project, funded by Canada’s New Frontiers in Research Fund. You will collect wellbeing, health and clinical data from older adults in Barcelona, coordinate study appointments and maintain wearable devices used for data collection.

The role requires Catalan/Spanish language ability and English at least B2; contract is full‑time for 2 months with 21,224€

Formación

• Degree in health sciences, public health, epidemiology or related studies.
• Some experience in data collection in clinico-epidemiological research.
• Motivation to work with geriatric patients.
• Knowledge/experience about mobility limitations in the elderly.
• Ideally experience in recruitment of older adults for observational research study.
• Some experience of objective health data collection using wearable devices.

Responsabilidades

• Data collection of wellbeing, health, and clinical data from older adults residing in Barcelona.
• Participation in internal research meetings.
• Respond to study related questions from study participants.
• Coordinate study appointments.
• Maintenance of study equipment including wearable devices used for data collection.
• Programming of devices prior to data collection and data storage organization following data collection.
