Abbott Laboratories in Spain is seeking a Field Technical Engineer for the Electrophysiology team in Sevilla. You will provide expert technical support on Abbott EP products to Sales reps and customers, and assist with education labs for physicians.

The role requires a science/engineering degree, at least 3 years in electrophysiology, strong English (B2-C1), and willingness to travel. You will present products, support the sales team, and ensure compliance with Quality procedures.

Formación

• B.S degree in Sciences or Biomedical Engineering preferred.
• Minimum 3 years experience in electrophysiology or clinical/industry role.
• Fluent English (B2-C1) mandatory.

The Opportunity

As a Field Technical Engineer within our Electrophysiology (EP) team you will be responsible for providing expert support and advise on the use of the Abbott EP portfolio within the assigned territory.

Position: Field Technical Engineer - Sevilla

Purpose of the Job

• To provide technical support to Sales Rep. and Customers relating to Abbott Medical products.
• To provide assistance with education wet labs for physicians.
• To ensure that all EMEAC current Business Ethics, Regulatory and Quality procedures are followed.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide technical support of equipment and assistance.
• Support physicians during the enrolment and follow-up phase of clinical studies, and collaborate with the Therapy Marketing Group in those studies.
• Perform Product Presentations.
• Provide support to Sales Team.
• Analyze competitor's devices and maintenance updated marketing database.
• Preform training concerning the use of new products.
• Ensure all Abbott Medical standing Quality Procedures are followed.
• Provide Market information to Sales Department.
• Produce Monthly reports on personal activities.
• To ensure that all EMEAC current Business Ethics, Regulatory and Quality procedures are followed.
• Represent the Company in a professional manner and with the highest integrity.
• Maintain business operations in accordance with corporate policies with respect to pricing, quotes, credit terms, and expense reporting.
• Proactively plan their weekly travel schedule and communicate this through the appropriate channels in your country/division.
• Keep inform his/her immediate manager inform (business progress, activities)
• Assist his/her manager to build the yearly operating plan required.
• Give support to other areas if it' s necessary.
• This position is in contact with customers.

Required Qualifications:

• B.S degree preferably in Sciences/BS in (Medical) Engineering. (Biomedical Engineer - Prefer)
• Mínimum 3 years of experience in electrophysiology, clinical experience or in an equivalent role within industry.
• Familiarity with catheter lab and operating room procedures and protocol and strong cardiac anatomy & physiology knowledge preferred.
• Strong communicator with active listening skills and questioning techniques.
• A tour of the area of the time and ability to work autonomously; adapting work schedule to procedures’ duration and coping with irregular/uneven work days.Driving license.
