Abbott in Sevilla is hiring a Field Technical Engineer to provide expert technical support for the Electrophysiology portfolio and assist in physician education sessions. The role requires close collaboration with the Sales team and knowledge of EP devices.

The candidate will travel frequently, deliver product presentations, and help ensure adherence to quality and regulatory procedures while supporting clinical studies and market initiatives.

Formación

• B.S. degree in Sciences or Biomedical Engineering; Biomedical Engineer preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of electrophysiology, clinical experience, or equivalent industry role.
• Familiarity with catheter lab procedures and cardiac anatomy knowledge preferred.
• Fluent in English (B2-C1) mandatory.
• Willing to travel extensively and work autonomously; driving license.
• Multi-national environment experience encouraged.

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical support to Sales reps and customers for Abbott EP products.
• Assist physicians with education wet labs and product presentations.
• Support Sales Team and analyze market information; produce monthly activity reports.
• Plan weekly travel and coordinate with management; maintain professional company representation.

The Opportunity

As a Field Technical Engineer within our Electrophysiology (EP) team you will be responsible for providing expert support and advise on the use of the Abbott EP portfolio within the assigned territory.

Position : Field Technical Engineer - Sevilla

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

• To provide technical support to Sales Rep. and Customers relating to Abbott Medical products.
• To provide assistance with education wet labs for physicians.
• To ensure that all EMEAC current Business Ethics, Regulatory and Quality procedures are followed.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide technical support of equipment and assistance.
• Support physicians during the enrolment and follow-up phase of clinical studies, and collaborate with the Therapy Marketing Group in those studies.
• Perform Product Presentations.
• Provide support to Sales Team.
• Analyze competitor's devices and maintenance updated marketing database.
• Preform training concerning the use of new products.
• Ensure all Abbott Medical standing Quality Procedures are followed.
• Provide Market information to Sales Department.
• Produce Monthly reports on personal activities.
• To ensure that all EMEAC current Business Ethics, Regulatory and Quality procedures are followed.
• Represent the Company in a professional manner and with the highest integrity.
• Maintain business operations in accordance with corporate policies with respect to pricing, quotes, credit terms, and expense reporting.
• Proactively plan their weekly travel schedule and communicate this through the appropriate channels in your country/division.
• Keep inform his/her immediate manager inform (business progress, activities)
• Assist his/her manager to build the yearly operating plan required.
• Give support to other areas if it' s necessary.
• This position is in contact with customers.

Required Qualifications :

• B.S degree preferably in Sciences/BS in (Medical) Engineering. (Biomedical Engineer - Prefer)
• Mínimum 3 years of experience in electrophysiology, clinical experience or in an equivalent role within industry.
• Familiarity with catheter lab and operating room procedures and protocol and strong cardiac anatomy & physiology knowledge preferred.
• Strong communicator with active listening skills and questioning techniques.
• A tour of the area of the time and ability to work autonomously; adapting work schedule to procedures’ duration and coping with irregular/uneven work days. Driving license.

• Fluent in English B2-C1 (mandatory).
