Sidel is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, commission and service high‑tech packaging machinery across Spain and abroad. You will train operators, troubleshoot on-site and collaborate with project managers to ensure client satisfaction.

Fluency in English, willingness to travel (>90%) and a technical degree are required; extensive hands-on field experience is valued. The role offers comprehensive training and international exposure.

Formación

• Technical degree or equivalent in automation, mechatronics, electrotechnics, industrial maintenance or related field.
• Fluent in English and comfortable working in multicultural teams.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service mindset.

You will be trained and supported to master high-tech equipment deployed at major industrial clients in Spainand abroad.

Your mission:

• Install, commission and test Sidel equipment, including single machines and complete production lines
• Troubleshoot, prevent and adopt corrective maintenance on mechanical machines within high-speed production lines
• Execute precise technical diagnostics, share feedback with internal support teams and propose corrective actions
• Administrate equipment upgrades and optimisation
• Collaborate closely with project managers and technical support teams to ensure customer satisfaction
• Train and empower client operators and maintenance technicians to ensure efficient equipment handling
• Report after sales opportunities detected on Customer site;
• Comply fully with Sidel and client safety rules, with clear communications throughout interventions

Your profile:

• Technical degree (automation, mechatronics, electrotechnics, industrial maintenance…)
• Strong technical curiosity and eagerness to learn continuously
• Field experience preferred or strong motivation to learn on the job
• Fluent in English, essential for working in a multicultural team
• Willingness to travel extensively (often >90% of the time) and adapt to different international environments
• Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service mindset
