Sidel is seeking a Field Service Technician specialized in automation to install, commission and test high-tech equipment at major industrial clients in Spain and abroad.

You will be trained and supported to master advanced automation equipment deployed across diverse environments.

Formación

• Bachelor-level technical degree in automation, mechatronics, electrotechnics or related field.
• Fluent in English with strong communication skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively (>90%).
• Field experience preferred or strong motivation to learn on the job.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service mindset.

Responsabilidades

• Install, commission and test Sidel equipment, including single machines and complete production lines.
• Troubleshoot, prevent and perform corrective maintenance on electrical, mechanical and automated machines within high-speed production lines.
• Execute precise technical diagnostics and propose corrective actions to support teams.
• Administrate equipment upgrades and optimisation, including hardware and software updates.
• Collaborate with project managers and technical support teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Train and empower client operators and maintenance technicians for efficient equipment handling.
• Report after-sales opportunities detected on customer sites.
• Comply with Sidel and client safety rules with clear communications during interventions.

Your Mission

Your main responsibilities

• Install, commission and test Sidel equipment, including single machines and complete production lines
• Troubleshoot, prevent and adopt corrective maintenance on electrical, mechanical and automated machines within high‑speed production lines
• Execute precise technical diagnostics, share feedback with internal support teams and propose corrective actions
• Administrate equipment upgrades and optimisation, including hardware and software updates
• Collaborate closely with project managers and technical support teams to ensure customer satisfaction
• Train and empower client operators and maintenance technicians to ensure efficient equipment handling
• Report after sales opportunities detected on Customer site
• Comply fully with Sidel and client safety rules, with clear communications throughout interventions
