Cytokinetics is seeking a Field Market Access Senior Manager to lead regional access strategies in Spain, aligning reimbursement planning with national objectives. You will engage regional health authorities, provide strategic insights, and drive cross‑functional execution with Medical Affairs and Commercial teams.

The role requires 7–10 years in market access or related fields, a life sciences degree, and fluent English with strong Spanish knowledge. Hybrid work is offered across the region.

Formación

• University degree required in a life sciences or related field; advanced health economics/market access is desirable.
• Experience in market access, pricing & reimbursement, health policy, or related areas (7–10 years).
• Proven track record engaging with regional stakeholders in Spain and supporting reimbursement initiatives.

Cytokinetics is a specialty cardiovascular biopharmaceutical company that builds on over 25 years of pioneering scientific innovations in muscle biology, advancing a pipeline of potential new medicines for patients suffering from diseases of cardiac muscle dysfunction. The Field Market Access Senior Manager will report to the Market Access Senior Director and is responsible for developing and executing regional market access strategies to support reimbursement preparedness, regional access planning, and successful implementation of market access objectives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Regional Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and maintain relationships with regional healthcare stakeholders, including health authorities, evaluation bodies, healthcare managers, hospital decision‑makers, and other relevant stakeholders; represent the company in compliant interactions; identify opportunities and challenges that may influence access and implementation.
2. Market Access Strategy & Reimbursement Preparedness: Contribute regional insights and intelligence to support national market access strategy; monitor regional perspectives relevant to reimbursement, healthcare policy and access decision‑making; identify potential access barriers and provide recommendations to strengthen access planning and value communication.
3. Regional Access Planning & Implementation: Map regional access pathways, evaluation processes and implementation requirements; develop regional access plans aligned with national objectives; support implementation of reimbursement decisions at regional and local levels; facilitate understanding of regional adoption processes.
4. Policy Monitoring & Business Insights: Monitor healthcare policy, funding frameworks and access‑related developments; analyze trends and assess potential impact on market access strategy; generate actionable insights for internal stakeholders; contribute to launch readiness, forecasting and business planning activities.
5. Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the Market Access Senior Director, Medical Affairs and Commercial teams; co‑develop and maintain localized territory account plans with Key Account Managers and Territory Managers; ensure alignment between national and regional market access priorities; provide internal education on regional healthcare systems and access dynamics.

Qualifications & Experience

• University degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, Health Economics, Public Health, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Advanced qualification in Health Economics, Market Access, Healthcare Management or Public Policy is desirable.
• 7–10 years of experience within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, with significant experience in Market Access, Pricing & Reimbursement, Health Policy or related functions.
• Proven experience engaging with regional healthcare stakeholders within Spain and supporting reimbursement, healthcare policy or access‑related initiatives.

Language & Travel

• Native Spanish and fluent English; proficiency in other official languages of Spain is a plus.
