Job summary

Saipem is seeking a Safety Coordinator to support execution and design phases across Italy, primarily at the Fano office. You will drive safety plans, risk assessments, and coordination with multiple contractors to ensure compliance and safe progression of complex projects.

The role requires a Master’s or Bachelor’s in engineering/architecture, relevant safety certifications, and 3 years’ experience in oil and gas environments. Fluent Italian with strong English is essential.

Qualifications

• Master's or bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or surveyor diploma.
• Valid 120-hour Safety Coordinator training certificate and 40-hour refresher.
• 3 years as Safety Coordinator during execution in Oil & Gas plants/pipelines.
• Native Italian with good English command.
• MS Project and AutoCAD; strong MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with obligations and coordinate among contractors and subcontractors.
• Coordinate on-site information flow and safety file updates.
• Review PSC and POS; assess safety costs and updates when needed.
• Verify PSC implementation by contractors and self-employed workers.
• Coordinate on-site activities to prevent interference and overlapping risks.
• Prepare PSC during Design Phase and Health and Safety File for future maintenance.
