Kaiyiee Global Talent places you at the forefront of machine vision in Barcelona. As a Field Application Engineer, you will be the technical face of its systems on OEM, Tier 1 and line-builder sites across Europe, installing, configuring and commissioning vision solutions in production environments.

You’ll travel across Europe, train customer teams, support post-SOP, and contribute to R&D feedback and documentation.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required.
• Hands-on machine vision experience and on-site commissioning preferred.
• Fluent English (C1+) plus another European language; Spanish a strong advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Install, configure and commission vision systems on-site: hardware, software and robot/PLC communication.
• Deliver inspection and measurement projects alongside the project manager.
• Train customer teams at OEMs, Tier 1s and line builders across automotive processes.
• Provide post-SOP support: remote commissioning, optimisation and on-site troubleshooting.
• Feed insights back to HQ R&D and help manage Spanish spare-parts warehouse.

About the Role

Our client, an established machine vision company whose inspection and guidance systems run on automotive production lines, has set up a Spanish subsidiary in Barcelona to lead sales, implementation and service across Europe. As Field Application Engineer, you will be the technical face of its products at OEM, Tier 1 and line-builder sites.

What You'll Do

• Install, configure and commission vision systems on-site: hardware, software and robot/PLC communication
• Deliver glue bead, weld and surface inspection, guidance, best‑fit and in‑line measurement projects alongside the project manager
• Train customer teams at major OEMs, Tier 1s and line builders across stamping, welding, painting, final assembly and battery assembly
• Provide post‑SOP support: remote commissioning, optimisation, lab testing and on‑site troubleshooting
• Feed customer insights back to HQ R&D, improve product documentation, and help run the Spanish spare‑parts warehouse

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in measurement & control, automation, mechanical, electrical or automotive engineering
• Hands‑on experience in at least one automotive process (adhesive application, MIG/MAG/laser welding, assembly) or in robot/PLC commissioning
• Fluent English (C1+) plus at least one other European language; Spanish is a strong advantage
• Flexibility to travel across Europe for customer projects, and a strong sense of ownership
• Machine vision experience and on‑site commissioning at an OEM are a strong plus
