K-Lagan in Manresa, Barcelona (Spain) seeks a Machine Vision Engineer to lead projects from design through commissioning on-site, delivering advanced machine vision solutions for inspection and automation.

The role requires a strong background in industrial machine vision, experience with vision platforms (Cognex/Keyence/OpenCV), and English proficiency at B2 level or higher. Travel to customer sites may be required in this dynamic environment.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in automation, robotics, electronics, CS, industrial engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in industrial machine vision projects.

Responsabilidades

• Lead machine vision projects from requirements definition to final validation and commissioning.
• Design, develop, and integrate machine vision systems for industrial applications.
• Coordinate technical activities with internal teams and external suppliers.
• Program, configure, and optimize automated inspection solutions using cameras and vision software.
• Ensure project quality standards, deadlines, and objectives are met.

We are looking for a Machine Vision Engineer with strong technical expertise in industrial environments and automation, capable of leading projects from the design phase through commissioning and validation on-site. The successful candidate will be involved in the development and implementation of advanced machine vision solutions for inspection, quality control, and industrial automation applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead machine vision projects from requirements definition to final validation and commissioning.
• Design, develop, and integrate machine vision systems for industrial applications.
• Coordinate technical activities with internal teams and external suppliers.
• Program, configure, and optimize automated inspection solutions based on industrial cameras and vision software.
• Ensure project quality standards, deadlines, and technical objectives are met.
• Prepare technical documentation and support validation, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including automation, robotics, manufacturing, and engineering departments.

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree, Engineering Degree, or Higher Vocational Qualification in Automation, Robotics, Electronics, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in industrial machine vision projects.
• Strong knowledge of integrating vision systems into manufacturing and production environments.
• English proficiency at a minimum B2 level (mandatory).
• Availability for occasional business travel.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver results in a dynamic environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience leading technical teams or managing engineering projects.
• Knowledge of Machine Learning applications in computer vision.
• Experience with PLCs, industrial robots, and automation systems integration.
• Hands-on experience with machine vision platforms such as Cognex, Keyence, Halcon, OpenCV, or similar technologies.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under demanding deadlines.

The expected salary range for this position is €33,000–€38,000 gross per annum. However, the final offer will be aligned with the candidates level of experience, technical capabilities, skills, and the value they can bring to the project.
