Ebury in Malaga is seeking an FCC Escalations analyst to support the Financial Crime Compliance team. You will investigate internal SARs, assess findings, and present clear reports to stakeholders.

The role requires 2+ years of investigative experience and fluency in English, with Spanish desirable. The position is hybrid (4 days in office, 1 day from home) and involves using tools like Orbis and LexisNexis.

• Strong reporting skills; able to defend findings under time pressure

• Present findings to relevant stakeholders across the company

• Work well under pressure and complete time-sensitive investigations

Compliance

Ebury Malaga Office - Hybrid: 4 days in the office, 1 day working from home per week

As an FCC Escalations analyst, you will work in the Financial Crime Compliance department in the firm’s Malaga office.

What you’ll do

• Minimum 2 years of Investigative experience (Financial Crime Investigations experience ideal but not essential).


• Experience using investigative tools, such as Orbis, LexisNexis, and open source resources.


• Experience identifying and investigating red flag issues, including litigation, political exposure and corruption.


• Experience writing high-quality and thorough investigative reports, with the ability to defend and explain findings.


• Must be able to work well under pressure and be proactive in completing investigations under time-sensitive conditions.


• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills, allowing the candidate to identify financial crime risks and address them accordingly.


• High competency in Microsoft Office suite and Google Docs software (desired).


• Candidate should be fluent in English (Spanish is desirable).
