CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is seeking a Facility & Real Estate Regional Manager Iberia & GMCI to oversee facilities across Madrid, Lisbon, the Canary Islands, Athens and Malta. You will lead a small team, manage budgets, and drive service excellence and sustainability initiatives within a multinational context.

The role requires strong leadership, alignment with corporate standards, and collaboration with cross-functional partners to optimize space, cost and risk across the Iberia GMCI

  • Oversee end-to-end delivery of facilities services, ensuring compliance with contracts and procedures.
  • Lead capital projects, budgeting, supplier management and sustainability initiatives.

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions, a leading globalprovider of integrated facilities and workplace solutions, is seeking anexceptional Facility & Real Estate Regional Manager Iberia & GMCI Clusters (Madrid, Lisbon, Canary Islands, Athens and Malta offices), locatedin Madrid, Spain.

About the role

The position is accountable for the strategicoversight and operational delivery of the facilities services, includingmaintenance, reactive repairs, cleaning and workplace experience, ensuring theenvironment is safe, complaint and maintained to the highest standards.

The role requires strong leadership in driving serviceexcellence, operational efficiency and continuous improvement, while aligningthe facilities strategy with the wider business objectives. Building andmaintaining effective relationships with internal stakeholders, seniorleadership and external service partners is critical to success. You will workclosely with the Business partners and collaborate with regional and globalfacilities teams, ensuring alignment with corporate standards, best practicesand consistency across locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Facility & Real Estate strategic overview for the Iberia & GMCI Clusters (Madrid, Lisbon, Canary Islands, Athens and Malta offices).
  • Manage and develop the Facilities team (3 coordinators), driving high performances and consistent service excellence across day-to-day operations, including Reception and Cleaning services.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the Leadership Team (LT), providing regular updates and strategic advice on workplace, risk, and significant operational matters.
  • Ensure with the Facilities team all contractors, suppliers and partners operate in compliance with contractual terms, site procedures and regulatory requirements. And oversee the end-to-end delivery of facilities services, ensuring alignment with business objectives and operational excellence.
  • Implement planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programs and ensure timely execution and compliance.
  • Ensure the supplier Purchase Orders (PO's) are reviewed annually, service agreements are up to date or extended, and appropriate PO's are raised in line with contractual requirements.
  • Lead and manage the financial budget, billing and cost control across the facilities services.
  • Collaborate with the business continuity manager to ensure business continuity planning and emergency preparedness is in place and regularly tested.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, enhancing service quality, efficiency and user experience.
  • Deliver high level of customer satisfaction, ensuring workplace services meet evolving employees and business needs.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Procurement, Security, HR, Finance and Sustainability teams.
  • Implement projects to improve the quality of KPIs such as time and efficiency, making sure that all the information is transferred to our database and reports.
  • Partner with HR, IT and Leadership to support workplace strategy, space planning and organisational changes.
  • Lead and deliver Capital projects (renovations, relocations, expansions), ensuring delivery on time, within budget and to specification.
  • Collaborate with the client´s EHS team to lead sustainability initiatives, driving energy efficiency, waste reduction and measurable environmental impact improvements.
  • Implement the integrated Facility Management strategy for the Madrid and Athens office with clear targets on cost and quality.
  • Take responsibility for your own workload and where possible ensure that the target times for each task's priority are met.
  • Commit to continuous professional development and industry best practice.
Requirements
Experience Required
  • Extensiveexperience in facilities and real estate management, including multi-siteoperations.
  • Proven trackrecord in strategic facilities leadership within a corporate environment.
  • Demonstratedability to lead teams and drive performance.
  • Experiencemanaging large-scale projects (fit-outs, relocations, refurbishments).
  • Strongcommercial acumen with experience in budget ownership and financial management.
  • Provenexpertise in vendor/contract management and performance optimisation.
  • In-depthknowledge of QHSE, statutory compliance, and risk management.
  • Experienceimplementing sustainability and workplace efficiency initiatives.
Technical / Functional / Leadership Skills Required
  • Strongunderstanding of building systems (HVAC, electrical, fire safety, BMS).
  • Expertise inmaintenance strategy and asset lifecycle management.
  • Experiencewith CAFM systems and facilities data analytics.
  • PPM planning,compliance, and operational delivery.
  • Financialmanagement including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
