CBRE Group, Inc. Global Workplace Solutions in Madrid seeks a Facility & Real Estate Regional Manager Iberia & GMCI Clusters to oversee multi-site facilities and real estate operations across Madrid, Lisbon, Canary Islands, Athens and Malta.

You will lead a small team, manage maintenance, cleaning, and workplace experience, and ensure safety and compliance. The role requires strategic leadership, cross-functional collaboration with procurement, HR, finance and sustainability, plus budget

Responsabilidades

  • Lead strategic overview for the Iberia & GMCI Clusters (Madrid, Lisbon, Canary Islands, Athens and Malta offices).
  • Manage Facilities team (3 coordinators) and drive high performance and service excellence across day-to-day operations (Reception and Cleaning).
  • Act as primary LT liaison, providing updates on workplace, risk and significant operational matters.
  • Ensure contractors comply with terms, procedures and regulatory requirements; oversee end-to-end delivery of facilities services.
  • Implement planned preventive maintenance programs and ensure timely execution and compliance.
  • Review annual supplier POs, service agreements and contract extensions.
  • Lead and manage the facilities budget, billing and cost control.
  • Collaborate with business continuity manager for continuity planning and testing.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and user experience.
  • Deliver high levels of customer satisfaction and adaptability to evolving employee/business needs.
  • Collaborate with Procurement, Security, HR, Finance and Sustainability teams.
  • Implement KPI-improvement projects and ensure data transfer to databases/reports.
  • Partner with HR, IT and Leadership on workplace strategy and space planning.
  • Lead and deliver capital projects (renovations, relocations, expansions).
  • Coordinate with client EHS team on sustainability initiatives and measurable environmental impact improvements.
  • Implement integrated Facility Management strategy for Madrid and Athens with targets on cost and quality.
  • Manage workload and meet task priorities.
  • Commit to ongoing professional development and industry best practices.

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions,a leading global provider of integrated facilities and workplace solutions, is seeking an exceptional Facility & Real Estate Regional Manager Iberia & GMCI Clusters (Madrid, Lisbon, Canary Islands, Athens and Malta offices), located in Madrid, Spain.

About the role

The position is accountable for the strategic oversight and operational delivery of the facilities services, including maintenance, reactive repairs, cleaning and workplace experience, ensuring the environment is safe, complaint and maintained to the highest standards.

The role requires strong leadership in driving service excellence, operational efficiency and continuous improvement, while aligning the facilities strategy with the wider business objectives. Building and maintaining effective relationships with internal stakeholders, senior leadership and external service partners is critical to success. You will work closely with the Business partners and collaborate with regional and global facilities teams, ensuring alignment with corporate standards, best practices and consistency across locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Facility & Real Estate strategic overview for the Iberia & GMCI Clusters (Madrid, Lisbon, Canary Islands, Athens and Malta offices).
  • Manage and develop the Facilities team (3 coordinators), driving high performances and consistent service excellence across day-to-day operations, including Reception and Cleaning services.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the Leadership Team (LT), providing regular updates and strategic advice on workplace, risk, and significant operational matters.
  • Ensure with the Facilities team all contractors, suppliers and partners operate in compliance with contractual terms, site procedures and regulatory requirements. And oversee the end-to-end delivery of facilities services, ensuring alignment with business objectives and operational excellence.
  • Implement planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programs and ensure timely execution and compliance.
  • Ensure the supplier Purchase Orders (PO’s) are reviewed annually, service agreements are up to date or extended, and appropriate PO’s are raised in line with contractual requirements.
  • Lead and manage the financial budget, billing and cost control across the facilities services.
  • Collaborate with the business continuity manager to ensure business continuity planning and emergency preparedness is in place and regularly tested.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, enhancing service quality, efficiency and user experience.
  • Deliver high level of customer satisfaction, ensuring workplace services meet evolving employees and business needs.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Procurement, Security, HR, Finance and Sustainability teams.
  • Implement projects to improve the quality of KPIs such as time and efficiency, making sure that all the information is transferred to our database and reports.
  • Partner with HR, IT and Leadership to support workplace strategy, space planning and organisational changes.
  • Lead and deliver Capital projects (renovations, relocations, expansions), ensuring delivery on time, within budget and to specification.
  • Collaborate with the client´s EHS team to lead sustainability initiatives, driving energy efficiency, waste reduction and measurable environmental impact improvements.
  • Implement the integrated Facility Management strategy for the Madrid and Athens office with clear targets on cost and quality.
  • Take responsibility for your own workload and where possible ensure that the target times for each task’s priority are met.
  • Commit to continuous professional development and industry best practice.
Requirements
Experience Required
  • Extensive experience in facilities and real estate management, including multi-site operations.
  • Proven track record in strategic facilities leadership within a corporate environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and drive performance.
  • Experience managing large-scale projects (fit-outs, relocations, refurbishments).
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience in budget ownership and financial management.
  • Proven expertise in vendor/contract management and performance optimisation.
  • In-depth knowledge of QHSE, statutory compliance, and risk management.
  • Experience implementing sustainability and workplace efficiency initiatives.
Technical / Functional / Leadership Skills Required
  • Strong understanding of building systems (HVAC, electrical, fire safety, BMS).
  • Expertise in maintenance strategy and asset lifecycle management.
  • Experience with CAFM systems and facilities data analytics.
  • PPM planning, compliance, and operational delivery.
  • Financial management including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.

  • Experience in change management and transformation initiatives.
