iGEBC is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to lead a diverse fabrication and maintenance team in a warehouse setting. You will guide welders, laborers, mechanics, masons, and carpenters, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery of projects.

The role requires strong leadership, technical know-how, and the ability to read drawings and manage inventories. The position emphasizes continuous process improvement and cross-department collaboration.

Formación

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within a fabrication or maintenance environment, preferably warehouse-based.
  • Expertise in Welding, machining, and other relevant fabrication techniques.
  • Experience in construction, with knowledge of carpentry, welding, masonry, and equipment maintenance.
  • Strong computer skills, particularly in MS Office Excel, for managing records and generating reports.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with other departments.

Responsabilidades

  • Lead and manage a warehouse-based team of welders, laborers, mechanics, masons, and carpenters, providing guidance, training, and support.
  • Ensure all team members adhere to safety protocols and company policies during fabrication and maintenance activities within the warehouse.
  • Oversee all fabrication tasks within the warehouse, ensuring quality and timely completion according to project specifications.
  • Supervise the maintenance of tools and equipment, coordinating regular inspections, repairs, and servicing to prevent breakdowns.
  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee all fabrication and maintenance tasks within the warehouse, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to schedules.
  • Manage the inventory of materials, tools, and equipment within the warehouse, ensuring their availability and optimal condition.
  • Conduct inspections and quality checks on fabricated products and completed maintenance tasks to ensure they meet company and client standards.
  • Implement continuous improvement practices to enhance the quality and efficiency of fabrication and maintenance processes within the warehouse.
  • Provide technical advice and troubleshooting support to the warehouse team on fabrication and maintenance tasks.
  • Resolve any issues that arise during the fabrication or maintenance process to minimize delays and ensure quality outcomes.
  • Maintain detailed records of all warehouse-based fabrication and maintenance activities, including progress reports, material usage, and quality assessments.
  • Report regularly to the Operations Manager on project status, team performance, and any challenges encountered.
  • Perform additional tasks as required to support the warehouse operations and the organization.
