Job summary

The ideal candidate will have EYFS teaching experience, a relevant degree, and fluency in English, with a passion for play-based pedagogy and safeguarding.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher with EYFS experience.
• Experience teaching within EYFS or Early Childhood Education.
• Strong understanding of child development and pedagogy.
• Native-level or fluent English language skills.
• Ability to create engaging, play-based learning experiences for young children.
• Strong communication and collaboration with colleagues and parents.

The successful candidate will create a positive, engaging, and inspiring learning environment that supports children’s academic, social, and emotional development during these crucial early years.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality EYFS learning experiences in line with the school's educational approach.
• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment where all children can thrive.
• Monitor, assess, and track student progress, maintaining accurate records and providing regular feedback to parents.
• Support children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
• Differentiate learning activities to meet the individual needs of all pupils.
• Work closely with colleagues to develop and enhance the Early Years curriculum.
• Establish positive partnerships with parents and carers to support children's learning and wellbeing
• .Participate in school events, parent meetings, and wider school activities.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

• A recognised teaching qualification and relevant degree.
• Experience teaching within Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) or Early Childhood Education.
• An excellent understanding of child development and early years pedagogy.Native-level or fluent English language skills.
• The ability to create engaging, play-based learning experiences that encourage curiosity and independence.
• Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with students, parents, and colleagues.
• A warm, caring, and child-centred approach to teaching and learning.The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute positively to the wider school community.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
