Visionario Group Eyewear — Barcelona (on-site)
Reflect Eyewear is looking for a Product Creative Director to own the creative and product vision across our eyewear brands — Visionario, Le Parc, and Scalpers Eyewear. This is not a purely strategic or "direction-only" role: you will be hands‑on in the design process itself, sketching, developing and detailing models yourself, as well as briefing and directing creative agencies where they're involved. You will lead the full journey of every collection — from concept and creative direction through technical development to launch — working closely with creative agencies, factories, and our sales and buying teams. This is a highly cross‑functional role: you are the person the entire design, aesthetic direction, and product quality ultimately rests on, and you need to be fluent in the design tools of the trade to do it.
Design & creative direction Define the collection strategy for each brand (scope, categories, positioning, etc.) Set the creative direction of each collection and translate it into a clear briefing (Where are we going? Who do we want to be? What's missing?) Depending on the collection, either brief and direct an external creative agency — reviewing their proposals and driving changes and improvements until it's right — or personally design the full collection yourself, end-to-end: sketching, developing and detailing every model with your own hands and tools Build the seasonal color trend dossier and apply colour direction across the collection (acetates, lenses, etc.) Safeguard design detail, brand identity, and coherence across every collection Co-design capsule collections with renowned external creatives — architects, interior designers, industrial designers (e.g. LE PARC x La Granja) Present collections to the relevant brand's internal creative teams (e.g. Scalpers Man and Scalpers Woman) and incorporate their input Co-design special models for retail stores in collaboration with the brand's own team Product & technical development Brief technical drawings (TDs) to factories and iterate until the required level of detail is achieved Review prototypes and fitting Select the final models and colours to launch, together with the buying team and, where relevant, the brand's own creative team Carry out quality control on mass production once it arrives in-house, ensuring the product meets defined quality standards Commercial & go-to-market Present each collection to the sales network Run workshops with the sales team to identify areas for improvement Visit key customers to stay close to market trends Travel to China once a year to deepen your understanding of the manufacturing process
Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar product design / creative leadership role, ideally in eyewear, fashion accessories, or another closely related product category Strong, hands‑on design skills — this role requires real design ability, not only creative direction: you will personally design full collections, not just brief and approve someone else's work Advanced, day‑to‑day proficiency with the design and technical tools of the eyewear/product design trade (e.g. Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, 3D/CAD modeling software such as Rhino, and technical drawing tools used to produce spec sheets and TDs for factories) — you need to be able to sketch, model, and detail a design yourself, end to end Experience both directing external creative agencies and owning full collection design in‑house, end‑to‑end, from concept through to mass production Solid technical understanding of eyewear manufacturing — materials, acetates, lenses, fitting, and quality control Experience collaborating with external creative talent (architects, designers, etc.) on capsule or limited‑edition collections is a plus Comfortable presenting to sales teams and engaging directly with key customers Strong leadership, project management, and cross‑functional collaboration skills Fluent in English
