Our specialized Grifols Innovation and New Technologies group, GIANT, is the company’s external innovation arm, dedicated to diversifying Grifols’ external partnerships and investments to identify and develop strategic business opportunities.

What your responsibilities will be
  • Conducting research and analysis: The trainee is responsible for conducting comprehensive research and analysis on various therapeutic areas, technologies, and modalities to identify promising investment opportunities and track the competitive landscape.
  • Evaluating and assessing potential value and market prospects: The trainee is responsible for evaluating and assessing complex information (including scientific data, IP, regulatory, commercial, etc.) to determine the potential value and market prospects of different projects and technologies.
  • Gaining insights and providing recommendations: The trainee is responsible for gaining insights into innovative scientific advancements, emerging trends, and industry dynamics through discussions and interactions with key opinion leaders and other stakeholders. The trainee is also responsible for providing recommendations for potential collaborations or partnerships based on strategic decision‑making processes.

  • You are studying a Master’s degree in life sciences (Biology, Biomedicine, Bioquimistry or Biotechnology) OR you have a PhD in Life Sciences and are currently studying a Master’s degree in Business or Pharmaceutical Industry.
  • Passionate about innovative science, particularly about new technologies and product development.
  • Capacity of analyzing data from a variety of sources and keeping up to news and new trends in the areas of interest of the company (immunology, infections diseases, hematology, pulmonology…).
  • Adaptive learner that can work in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Capacity to get up to speed in areas outside core expertise.
  • Resourceful team player who loves to help others excel.
  • Analytic, organized and with effective communication skills.
  • Fluent in English (C1 and above).
