Job summary

Ethos is looking for experienced compliance officers to help train AI models on professional documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks. The role focuses on regulatory filings, policy drafting, and control-testing documentation, with broad work across AI governance and regulator communications.

The position is fully remote with flexible hours (5–20 hours per week) and a compensation rate of $100/hour, starting ASAP. Prior regulatory experience in financial services is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in financial services compliance, regulatory affairs, or risk management.
• Direct ownership of drafting or reviewing regulatory filings, compliance policy, or control-testing documentation.
• Expert-level document, spreadsheet, and slide craftsmanship, with excellent written communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Train AI models by evaluating and refining AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks across core workflows such as regulatory filing and disclosure review, policy drafting, and control-testing documentation.
• Prepare regulator correspondence and board risk committee materials.
• Support AI governance memos and risk memos related to model risk and compliance.

About This Opportunity

We're working with a leading foundational AI lab to find experienced compliance officers who can help train their latest language model on professional document, spreadsheet, and slide deck tasks. We're looking for compliance officers with 5+ years in financial services regulatory compliance or risk to create, evaluate, and refine AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks across core workflows: regulatory-filing and disclosure review, AI and model-risk governance memos, compliance-policy drafting, control-testing and audit-response documentation, regulator correspondence, and board risk committee materials.
