A global technology organization is seeking an experienced Project Manager based in Barcelona. In this hybrid role, you will lead complex projects, manage teams, and ensure timely delivery aligned with business objectives. The ideal candidate has over 6 years of experience in project management with strong communication skills and knowledge in service delivery. Formación

  • 6+ years in project management or service delivery roles, preferably in IT environments.
  • Experience with KPI tracking and reporting.
  • Familiarity with change and problem management processes.

The Role

As an experienced Project Manager, you will lead and coordinate complex projects, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and aligned with strategic business objectives. You will manage cross‑functional teams, oversee project documentation, and maintain effective communication with senior stakeholders. Additionally, you will apply advanced Service Management and Incident Management practices to guarantee operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

Work location : Barcelona

Hybrid work model : 2 days in the office and 3 days remote.

This role may require planned work outside regular business hours

Responsibilities
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with business goals.
  • Plan, organize, and manage project activities, timelines, and resources for multiple initiatives.
  • Coordinate tasks among team members and stakeholders to ensure smooth execution.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies proactively.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for meetings, decisions, and deliverables.
  • Prepare and present detailed status reports to senior stakeholders and executive management.
  • Drive process improvements and ensure adherence to project management best practices.
  • Oversee incident resolution processes, ensuring proper escalation and documentation.
  • Collaborate with service teams to maintain SLAs and improve service delivery.
  • Support change and problem management initiatives within the project scope.
Who You Are
Technical and Professional Requirements
  • Experience: 6+ years in project management or service delivery roles, preferably in IT environments.
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall)
    • IT Service Management principles (ITIL or similar)
    • Incident Management workflows
  • Tools expertise:
    • MS Project, Jira, Trello
    • Service Management platforms, ServiceNow
  • Preferred:
    • Experience with KPI tracking and reporting
  • Familiarity with change and problem management processes.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects, multiple priorities, and work under pressure.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.

Education
  • Required: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
