Open Arms & FCS in Lindenhurst, IL is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide in-home hospice and dementia care. You will assist with personal care, mobility, meals, and light housekeeping while offering companionship and emotional support.

Hoyer lift experience and at least 1 year of professional caregiving are required, plus a valid driver’s license and the ability to pass background screenings. Nursing students are encouraged to apply and gain hands-on experience with seniors.

Formación

• 18 years of age or older.
• 1+ year of professional caregiving experience.
• Experience in home care, CNA, HHA, DSP, assisted living, nursing home, or similar settings.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to pass required background screenings.

CLIENT NEEDS & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Hospice and dementia care experience required.
• Hoyer lift experience required.
• Assist with personal care, toileting, transfers, and mobility.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with meals and light housekeeping.
• Provide safe and respectful hands-on care.

SCHEDULE

• Friday through Monday, based on client needs
• 12-hour shifts
• Weekend availability, including every other weekend
• Consistent 3-day availability required

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• 18 years of age or older
• 1+ year of professional caregiving experience
• Experience in home care, CNA, HHA, DSP, assisted living, nursing home, or similar settings
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to pass required background screenings
