Role Purpose :

Join our team as an Experienced Accountant with a focus on bookkeeping, financial reporting, and operational support. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will take ownership of core accounting processes, drive accuracy in financial records, and provide strategic administrative support to the operations team. This is a hands-on role offering autonomy, professional growth, and impact in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities :
  • Independently record, classify, and maintain accurate financial transactions in the general ledger.
  • Oversee full-cycle invoicing and accounts payable, including guest billing, supplier payments, and operational expenses.
  • Perform monthly bank, credit card, and booking reconciliations with minimal supervision.
  • Prepare accurate monthly financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) and variance analysis.
  • Lead the compilation and review of bookkeeping data for quarterly and annual financial closings, ensuring compliance and timeliness.
  • Maintain comprehensive, audit-ready records for supplier payments, CapEx tracking, maintenance schedules, and operational expenses.
  • Develop and deliver weekly and monthly operational dashboards integrating financial KPIs with performance metrics.
  • Provide proactive administrative support to operations, including maintenance scheduling, vendor coordination, and supply chain tracking.
  • Manage supplier contracts, pricing negotiations, and guest-related financial documentation with precision.
  • Streamline administrative workflows (e.g., team calendars, vendor onboarding, inquiry resolution) to enhance operational efficiency.
Requirements :
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration (Grado en Finanzas y Contabilidad or ADE).
  • 3–5 years of progressive experience in bookkeeping, full-cycle accounting, or financial operations (hospitality experience a strong plus).
  • Interest in hospitality.
  • High proficiency in accounting software (Sage, Xero, ContaSol).
  • High-level Excel skills and fluency in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace.
  • Proven ability to prepare financial statements, manage reconciliations, and support external audits.
  • Strong analytical mindset with a track record of identifying discrepancies and improving processes.
  • Strong written English communication skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a small, dynamic team while managing deadlines and priorities independently.
